The Baby & Children's Ministry moved in April 2013 to the Harvest House Ministry Center at 175 Jefferson Avenue. Generous people who want to donate and are familiar with the former location of the BCM on Seneca Street ask for directions on how to get there from Seneca Street. It is only 2.5 miles away!

Turn right out of the parking lot onto Seneca Street. At the signal near Larkin Square where Seneca Street bears left, stay to the right of the fire station and continue on Swan Street.

Drive under the viaduct. Make the first right turn onto Jefferson Avenue. The Harvest House Ministry Center is 2 blocks on the right, with a large parking lot.

About the Baby & Children's Ministry...

Imagine the heartache of the mother who is not able to provide her child with something as basic as a pair of pajamas; or the shame of knowing that her child's threadbare coat no longer fits, but must last another winter. This is why the Baby & Children's Ministry exists.

At the Baby & Children's Ministry, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and other caregivers have their pride and dignity restored as they shop for the items that their children need. With the exception of diapers and formula, we give away anything needed for a baby or child, such as clothing, safe cribs (with stationary sides), car seats, strollers, toys, books, pajamas, etc.  Most of the items given away have been donated through private individuals, clothing drives, "baby showers," and scouting projects.

Through the generosity of individual donors, workplace and school Jean Days, and the proceeds from our Bottles for Babies™ Campaign (click on square at the upper right corner), we are able to purchase items such as safe cribs (read more), pack 'n plays, socks and underwear. This ministry is run by the Director, Guadalupe Pena. "Lupe" is assisted by one assistant and 30 wonderful volunteers (please read more by clicking here)

We are always in need of new or gently-used children's clothing sizes Newborn - 16.

We often run out of boy's sizes 5 through 14. If you are able to donate, or know of anyone who can help, it would be GREATLY appreciated!! (Please see Wish List to the right) Tax deductible receipts are available.

Have a school or work "Dress Down Day" & donate the proceeds!

Have a "baby shower" & donate the gifts to mothers in need!

Update as of 11/20/17: Thanks to the incredible community support to help with new clients from Puerto Rico, we have no more room for adult clothing donations at this time. Please donate your adult clothing to the many other agencies in our area

Jim & Jill Vavreck, shown below, collect and deliver 150 NEW winter coats every year through Operation Warm.

A song that has never been sung.

A hope that has never been quenched.

A chance to love and be loved and

A complete faith in us for protection.
