Mission Statement

Founded in 1993, Harvest House breaks the barriers keeping people in poverty; facilitating workforce development, wellness, access to basic human needs, and spiritual health in our community.

Vision Statement

Harvest House works to strengthen the body and soul of the people of Buffalo by breaking down barriers to economic growth and fostering spiritual values in a culturally sensitive atmosphere, promoting dignity and respect; representing God's unfailing and unconditional love for every individual.

Core Values

Service:  We meet people where they are, fostering self-sufficiency for each individual's faith journey.

Compassion:  We serve with care and identify with each individual's overall well-being.

Respect:  We respect that each individual has an innate right to be valued, respected, and to receive ethical treatment in an increasingly complex cultural and ethnically diverse community.

Social Justice:  We advocate for society's vulnerable and disenfranchised citizens to address issues of poverty, basic human needs, and health care for the uninsured/underinsured.

Collaboration:  We maintain dialogue with our community to improve service and provide care linkage services.

Service to Others:  We inspire and empower community leaders and professionals to give back to their communities and to serve underserved communities.

Integrity/Accountability:  We serve with honesty, accountability, and transparency.
